Best Pals Card with Pam Bray
Hi! Pam here today sharing my Best Pals card that I created using the Couture Creations Crazy Daisy Embossing Folder and the Couture Creations Ivy Set Doily Dies. I just love the Crazy Daisy Embossing Folder! I ran the Crazy Daisy Embossing Folder through my die-cutting machine with some pink cardstock and used it for my card base.
I added a bunch of fun banner flags that I hand cut to the bottom of the striped patterned paper, along with some lace and a couple of Candie pieces. I added an Ivy Doily, that I topped with an image of a little girl and covered with an epoxy center, to the top of the card. Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs, Pammejo

Joy Notepad with Gloria
Hello everyone! Gloria here today. I
have created a sweet little notepad cover for you. I love notepads.
They come in all sizes and shapes and one can never have too many!
Creating custom covers for them is fun and easy, and they make wonderful
quickie gifts!
Couture Creations Supplies:
CO723040 Circle Nesting Dies
CO723046 Rectangle Nesting Dies
CO723047 Scallop Rectangle Nesting Dies
CO723222 Fantasia Collection - Ivy Doily Die
CO723294 All Occasions Collection - Endless Embossing Folder
CO721999 Self Adhesive Pearls - Cafe Creme
CO721957 Cutting Mat
Other Supplies:
Cardstock: WorldWin Papers Treasures Pitch Black, Colormates Medium Coffee Brown, Core'dinations Signature Graphic 45 Antique Moss; Patterned paper: Graphic 45 French Country Rendezvous; Stickers: Graphic 45 French Country; Rubber Stamps: My Favorite Things Cheerful Blessings; Stamping Ink: Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black; Notepad: Staples Office Supply
You can decorate your notepad cover as much or as little as you wish.
My notepad
measures 8 x 2 1/2 inches. If you cannot find notepads this size, you
can purchase standard 8 x 5 inch pads and cut them in half. My office
supply store will cut a whole stack of pads for me for a few dollars. If
the "right" clerk is on duty, he will cut them for free!
1. Cut tan
cardstock to 8 1/8 x 5 1/4 inches. Score at 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 inches on
the short side. This makes your basic notepad cover to fit a 8 x 2 1/2
inch notepad.
2. Trim printed
paper to 3 x 2 1/2 inches. Score the long side at 1 and 1 1/4 inches.
This will create a little "topper" to hide the ugly binding on your
notepad.
3. Cover the notepad binding and then attach the notepad to the right side of the notepad cover.
3. Emboss green cardstock with the Endless Embossing Folder from the All Occasions Collection. I used Core'dinations Cardstock and sanded it to reveal the pale core of the paper.
4. Trim black
cardstock to 8 x 2 3/8 inches and attach to the front of the notepad
cover. Trim embossed cardsctock to 2 1/4 inches wide. Trim two pieces,
joined where the embossing matches, to create a 7 7/8 inch long strip.
Attach the embossed strip to the black cardstock with the seam near the
top of the notepad cover.
6. Using the large Ivy Doily Die (Fantasia Collection), cut and emboss a doily from patterned paper. You may need to use the Piercing Tool to remove some of the tiny bits from the die cut shape. Attach to the top of the notepad cover with Foam Mounting Tape, making sure to overlap the seam.
7. Stamp sentiment onto tan cardstock with black dye ink and cut with a Circle Nesting Die.
8. Attach the sentiment to the center of the doily die-cut shape.
9. Add Self Adhesive Pearls to the four corners of the notepad cover and attach a postage stamp image sticker to the bottom center.
10. Using the Scallop Rectangle Nesting Dies, cut a scalloped rectangle from black cardstock.
11. Line the Rectangle Nesting Die template over the a section of embossed leaves cardstock and tape down. Cut the embossed paper and adhere the rectangle to the scalloped rectangle mat.
12. Trim black
cardstock to 8 x 2 3/8 inches and attach to the inside left of the
cover. Trim printed paper to 7 7/8 x 2 1/4 inches and attach to the
black cardstock.
13. Attach the leaf image to the center of the panel at an angle. Add a postage stamp image sticker to the bottom right edge of the panel.

Aging Embossed Aluminum with Dana
Hi! Dana here today sharing a card that I created with the Poetry Embossing Folder from the Elegance Collection. I started this card with an embossed piece of Aluminum. I added a patina finish to the aluminum with a patina green finishing set and some color to the blooms with alcohol inks. With a few simple steps, its possible to add years of weathering in just minutes!
Step One: Emboss a piece of aluminum with the Poetry Embossing Folder and prime the surface with a clear sealant.
Step Two: Using a paint brush, apply several coats of a copper metallic surfacer to the aluminum. While the last coat of metallic surfacer is still wet, randomly apply a patina green antiquing solution to the aluminum with a paint brush using a pouncing motion. Set aside to dry. Note: The Sophisticated Finishes Patina Green Set that I used is not a paint or faux finish. These chemicals cause copper, brass and bronze to oxidize as they might naturally, given years of exposure to the elements. The patina solutions work on genuine metals, like copper, brass and bronze, as well as non-metal surfaces, like wood, plaster, glass, ceramic, canvas, cardboard and plastic.
Step Three: Using a paint brush, apply color to the blooms with Alcohol Inks and let dry. Randomly apply a black tinting solution, or black paint or ink, to the aluminum for a grungy look. Let dry. Protect the aluminum with a coat of clear sealant.
Step Four: Mount the aluminum onto a card base and embellish to finish. Note: I mounted my aluminum piece onto a some cork, to add another fun layer of texture, and then onto a cardstock base. I then added a ribbon bow that I topped with a Vintage Gold Self Adhesive Gemstone. I finished my card with a sentiment sticker that I adhered with a piece of Foam Mounting Tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Two Pocket Card by Kerrie Gurney
Hi! Kerrie
here with a clever two pocket card tutorial for you today. I love creating this card for special
occasions. You can get everyone to sign the tags or you can replace one
of the tags with a gift card. It is super easy to create this card with just a single sheet of 8.5" x 11 3/4" (A4 for us Aussies) cardstock.
Die-cut 1 Fantasia Dazzling Doily Die. Trim 1/3 off and use the bigger half on the front of the card.
Couture Creations Supplies:
Fold the cardstock in half long side.
Undo and fold in half short side.
Unfold and cut the from the side into the middle fold line.
Fold the bottom right corner up to the center fold line.
Fold the top left corner down approx 1" to 1.5" from center fold line.
Fold the left top side over to the right.
Fold the whole bottom half up.
Fold the left side to the back. This gives you your pockets...easy! :)
Place the card, excluding the back flap, into the Extra Loren Embossing Folder.
Emboss.
Sand the front of the card using the Sanding Block to bring out the core color of the cardstock.
Place Double-Sided Tape as shown, peel off the protective backing and press to adhere.
Die-cut 1 Fantasia Dazzling Doily Die. Trim 1/3 off and use the bigger half on the front of the card.
Cut 1 tag to fit a 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" pocket and 1 tag to fit a 5 3/4" x 3" pocket. Cut pennants from patterned paper and die-cut a label using the Victorian Rectangle Nesting Die. Embellish the card with flowers, chipboard butterflies and Self Adhesive Pearls.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial! Happy creating!

Layered Doily Dress Card by Patti Hamil
Patti here today sharing a quick card using the Couture Creations Dazzling Doily Die from the Fantasia Collection. You can make a little layered
dress easily from any of the circular dies!
Cut three circles from a contrasting color of cardstock, two a little larger than the doilies and one just a little smaller. The smaller circle will be for the bodice of the dress and the two larger circles will be for the skirt.
To create the skirt, adhere a doily to one of the larger cardstock circles and fold as shown in the photo below. Repeat to create the second layer of the skirt.
Cut the remaining doily in half, adhere it to the smaller cardstock circle, fold in the edges and attach it to the layered skirt as show in the photo below.
Next comes the fun, embellishing the dress! I added a tulle bow and tiny punched blooms with Couture Creations Self Adhesive Pearls in Pink Blush for flower centers.
Assemble the rest of the card as desired. I added a sentiment tag, some lace and a piece of ribbon. My background is light pink and I used a scrap of patterned paper with lavender flowers. The Couture Creations Precision LED Tweezers make attaching the little pearls a breeze!
The possibilities are endless as to the look of these little dresses. Try creating smaller dresses for use on layouts as embellishments or as a decorative banner.
Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

Hepburn Embossing Folder Week - Joie de Vivre with Pam
Hi! Pam here today sharing my first post as part of the CSW Distributors Design Team today. I want to share with you the beautiful Hepburn Embossing Folder from the Couture Creations Elegance Collection along with the Scallop Circle Nesting Dies that I used to create my Joie de Vivre Card.
I used a green shade of Core'dinations cardstock with the Hepburn Embossing Folder. I love the inner core of the cardstock. The embossed pattern always looks awesome and really stands out once sanded a bit with my Couture Creations Sanding Block.
Here is the side view of my card. You can see how the multiple layers add dimension and interest to my card. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hepburn Embossing Folder Week - Tri-Fold Photo Holder with Patti
Hi! Patti Hamil here today sharing my project using the Hepburn Embossing Folder from the Couture Creations Elegance Collection. I created a tri-fold photo holder that can be set up like a framed photo, or folded up completely.
I embossed a sheet of Petallics paper with the Hepburn Embossing Folder 3 times to create the background for my photo holder. I brushed three colors of pastel ink over the top of the embossed paper for a very subtle look. I then matted the embossed paper with blue cardstock. I also embossed a piece of green cardstock with the Hepburn Embossing Folder and cut out several leaves and swirls to fill out my flower clusters.
I used drops of Glossy Accents to mimic water.
I added Seaspray Self Adhesive Gemstones for a touch of sparkle.
I added a few small blooms and stickers and that was it. A really quick and easy project!
You could make one of these with more sections and even decorate both sides, then use ribbon for a tie closure! An easy way for a quick little photo book!
Thanks for stopping by today!
